Matey started as a side project rooted in a simple observation: many of my freelance clients needed design help but couldn’t afford traditional agency rates or large project retainers. They wanted great design, delivered quickly, without the overhead or unpredictability. I realized there was a gap — talented founders and growing teams needed a flexible, affordable way to get quality design without breaking their budgets.

So I created Matey — a streamlined, subscription-based design service that removes the complexity and makes high-quality design accessible. What began as a way to help a few clients has now grown into a scalable service supporting startups and teams with consistent, fast, and beautifully crafted design solutions.
